Current Position
Kayla Gardiner is the Director of Clinical Education and an Associate Professor at SUNY Sullivan County Community College. She is dedicated to educating and mentoring the next generation of respiratory care professionals. Kayla has over a decade of experience in the field. She has held a variety of clinical and leadership roles at institutions. These include Garnet Health Medical Center, The Center for Discovery, WMC-Health Alliance Hospital, and Nuvance Health-Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Education
Though she discovered respiratory care by chance, Kayla quickly realized it was where she was meant to be. Her passion for patient care and education continues to drive her commitment to advancing the profession. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care from SUNY Sullivan in 2015. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care from Boise State University in 2018.
