Regional Administrator, Respiratory Services Group
I have dedicated more than 20 years to the respiratory care profession, building my career through clinical practice, leadership, education, healthcare administration, and military service. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist with Adult Critical Care and Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty credentials, I have had the privilege of serving patients across acute care, neonatal transport, post-acute care, and long-term care settings while remaining committed to advancing our profession.
In my current role as a Regional Manager of Respiratory Services Group, I oversee respiratory care programs across multiple facilities, leading initiatives in staffing, education, regulatory compliance, and program development. Throughout my career, I have helped develop and expand respiratory service lines, implement innovative clinical programs, and lead organizations through significant challenges, including opening the Syracuse area’s first skilled nursing facility-based COVID-19 isolation unit and helping facilities navigate the pandemic through evidence-based clinical protocols and operational planning.
I am also passionate about developing future respiratory therapists. For more than 15 years, I have served as an adjunct clinical instructor, mentoring students while sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my career. I believe that my background as a neonatal transport therapist, post-acute care respiratory consultant, and military respiratory therapist have given me a broad perspective on the diverse roles RTs play in delivering exceptional patient care.
As Regional board member, I will work to advocate for our profession, support educational and leadership opportunities, promote collaboration across our region, and ensure respiratory therapists have a strong voice in shaping the future of healthcare in New York State. I believe that by working together, we can continue to elevate our profession and create new opportunities for respiratory therapists at every stage of their careers.
