The NYSSRC announces registration is now open for the 38th Annual Turning Stone Symposium. This year’s keynote speaker is Andrew West, EdD, MAppSc(Resp), FCSRT, Chief Executive Officer, Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists. Other speakers include Claire Aloan, MS, RRT-NPS, FAARC; Michael Bauer, MD; David Landsberg, MD, FACP, FCCP; Gary Nieman; Bruce Searles, MS, CCP; Frederic Seifer, MD, FCCP; Brian Walsh, PhD, RRT-NPS, RRT-ACCS, AE-C, RPFT, FAARC; Tanya Winders; and David Wolfe, MSEd, RRT,SDS, RPSGT, RST.
Application has been made to the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) for 10 continuing respiratory care education credits.
Conference registration fees for AARC members are $125 for both days, $90 for Thursday only, and $65 for Friday only. Non-member fees are $250 both days, $180 Friday only, and $90 Thursday only. Non-members may join the AARC at the symposium. The difference between the regular fee and the discounted fee will be applied to the AARC membership. Student fees are $60 both days, $45 Friday only, and $25 Thursday only. A late fee of $25 will be applied after August 24, 2018.
Payment can be made via institutional check or credit / debit card. If you are choosing to pay by check, it must be received before August 24, 2018 or your registration may be void. Rooms have been blocked at the rate of $148 / night in the Resorts Tower & Hotel for Wednesday, September 5 and Thursday, September 6. If you wish to extend your stay, room rate for Friday, September 7 is $175. The Tower is a “AAA” Four Diamond award-winner. For room reservations, call (800) 771-7711.
