Position on Proposed Legislation A5337 Regarding the Amend to The Education Law for Polysomnographic Technology Services

This legislation has been introduced into the NYS Assembly by Assemblymember Dana Levenberg, from District 95. The NYSSRC does not support this legislation, revising the educational standards for the practice of Polysomnography Technology. The NYSSRC specifically stands firm that the educational standard should remain at a minimum of an associate’s degree in Polysomnographic Technology.
