On April 4 the AARC will once again be visiting our Congress men and woman to talk about issues important to respiratory patients with chronic lung disease and the respiratory therapists that help treat them. The NYSSRC will have 6 state representatives attending this very important event. Meetings will focus on the need  to include respiratory therapists in any Telehealth bill considered by Congress this year and ways that will help demonstrate their clinical value in improving patient outcomes. We need grassroots efforts and everyone can do their part. The more emails they receive the more they will be willing to listen! There is also a place for patients, co-workers, students, and friends to support us so share this email. For everyone who believes that patients should have access to reimbursable respiratory therapy services by a qualified RESPIRATORY THERAPIST……the time is NOW!!
