The Western NY Region was pleased to take part in the hosting of one of the AARC’s International Fellows this year.

Jojie Toledo spent the week of October 3 in Rochester hosted by Rochester General Hospital. She spent most of her time at the hospital interacting with the medical team but also visited a local school (Genesee Community College) where students provided a demonstration of the use of technology in Respiratory Care training.

Long-standing Board of Medical Advisors (BOMA) member Dr. Peter Papadakos hosted a very nice dinner for her at the Genesee Valley Club. NYSSRC hosted a reception for her as well. Her itinerary took her to Baylor the following week, then the National Congress in San Antonio before returning to her home in the Philippines.
